We have a new opening for a keen and committed handy person to take on a role with us as a Grounds & Facilities Assistant at our SEA LIFE in Weymouth.

As an addition to our Grounds & Facilities team, you will assist in maintaining the upkeep of our 5-acre SEA LIFE site, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for our guests and staff to enjoy. 

This is a very varied role where no two days will be the same!

Whether its leaf blowing in the morning, clearing the gutters, taking care of lawns and flowerbeds, painting or maintaining the splash zone, you’ll love making the attraction look it’s very best for our many visitors and guests.

This is initially a seasonal, fixed term position with guaranteed hours of at least 10 per week. Shifts will include weekend and bank holidays.  

• Friendly approachable manner with good communication skills
• A can-do attitude with bags of enthusiasm and drive
• Past experience in a similar role or a genuine keen interest into basic maintenance skills
• Inquisitive nature and happy to learn new skills and tasks
• A committed team player able to effectively plan and prioritise their own work
