What you'll bring to the team

What will I do? 

 

Our security team play a pivotal role in ensuring that our guests and staff have a safe and enjoyable day out at Thorpe Park. We promote a diverse culture and our security officers must be role models in exceptional guest service and professionalism. 

 

  • Conduct bag checks and personal searches 
  • Patrol the resort being vigilant for any threats to the safety of the park. 
  • Respond to incidents in a professional and timely manner 
  • Work closely with the on – site First Aid team to ensure a smooth operation in any emergency response situations. 
  • Asset Transfers 
  • Be prepared to work alongside Surrey Police in a proactive operation and on the park to reduce anti social behaviour across the park.  

Qualifications & Experience

An Ideal candidate will: 

  • MUST have SIA licence to apply 
  • Must be over the age of 18 
  • Be able to use De-Escalation skills and conflict management in conjunction with SIA training to provide the best outcome. 
  • Crowd management skills are essential. 
  • Remain flexible in relation to working hours. 
  • Be approachable and confident  
  • Willing to drive standards 
  • Motivated to work closely with other departments on a daily basis.
