What you'll bring to the team

Engineering Stores Operative 
Location: THORPE PARK Resort, KT16 8PN
Hours: Part-Time
Salary: £12.75

 

Responsibilities:

• To design costumes in line with a clear concept briefs.
• To utilize existing costume to create new and bespoke character costumes across the attractions.
• Respond creatively to event briefs in line with brand guidelines.
• To bring to life the vision of the creative against a clear set criteria.
• Collaborate closely with the Entertainments Performance Manager to ensure costumes are fit for purpose and that they engage with the characters.
• To work with the Costume and Wardrobe Manager to create templates, designs and order requests within the event & production budget.

Qualifications & Experience

Pattern cutting, strong sewing skills, confidently use an overlocker and industrial sewing machines, laundry and basic cleaning skills. Dressing, maintenance and repair making, stock taking, ability to work with a wide range of fabrics.

This role is a Part-time role.  Although this is largely a Monday-Friday role, due to the nature of the business this will include weekends, bank holidays and some late evenings as required.
