With a keen interest in costume, you will be responsible for delivering designs against a concept brief for all of our Entertainment offerings. Working alongside the relevant stakeholders you will need to produce designs from scratch, deliver them to the project team for sign off and then create bespoke items for individual characters, seeing the process through to creation and then onto repair and maintenance. With a variety of costumed characters throughout the events, we will need originality, creativity and an eye for detail. A passion for bringing concepts to life in an operational environment will help deliver high quality garments for use in the theme park industry.

Key Accountabilities

• To design costumes in line with a clear concept briefs
• To utilize existing costume to create new and bespoke character costumes across the attractions
• Respond creatively to event briefs in line with brand guidelines.
• To bring to life the vision of the creative against a clear set criteria.
• Collaborate closely with the Entertainments Performance Manager to ensure costumes are fit for purpose and that they engage with the characters.
• To work with the Costume supervisor to create templates, designs and order requests within the event & production budget.
• Ensure cleanliness standards and working areas are always maintained, tidy and safe.
• Assist with auditing all costume assets within the department.
